1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of fogcityjunk.com and your requests for junk removal services from Fog City Junk Removal (“Fog City,” “we,” or “us”). By submitting a request, approving a quote, or using our services, you agree to these terms. An individual written quote or service agreement may contain additional job-specific terms; if it conflicts with these general terms, the specific agreement controls for that job.

2. Quotes and scope of work

We provide a price before beginning work. Prices depend on the amount and type of material, weight, location, access, labor, and disposal requirements. Photos and descriptions may support an initial estimate; a final quote may change after we inspect the actual items and access conditions. We will seek your approval before performing work at a revised price. You may decline a revised quote before work begins.

Only the items and services included in the approved quote are covered. Additional items, stairs, long carries, dismantling, or unusually heavy materials may require a separate price approved by you first. Scheduling and same-day availability depend on capacity and confirmation from our team.

3. Items, access, and safety

You must be authorized to dispose of the items you ask us to remove and identify any items that are fragile, unusually heavy, sharp, contaminated, or otherwise hazardous. Please remove cash, valuables, documents, medication, and anything you want to keep before pickup. We may refuse items or stop work when conditions are unsafe, unlawful, outside the agreed scope, or not accepted by the receiving facility.

We do not accept paint, hazardous materials or waste, tires, concrete, dirt, or demolition debris under our standard service. Ask us in advance about uncertain items. Provide safe access to the items and disclose parking restrictions, stairs, narrow passages, or building rules before the visit. We will make reasonable efforts to protect the work area; tell our team about existing damage or special surfaces before work starts.

4. Scheduling, cancellation, and payment

Appointments are confirmed when our team accepts the booking. If you need to reschedule or cancel, contact us as soon as possible at 628-888-6588. Any deposit, cancellation charge, or special payment schedule applies only if disclosed in your individual quote and accepted by you. Payment is due under the terms shown on your approved quote or invoice. We may use a third-party payment processor; do not send card details by text.

5. Fog City text messaging program

When you provide your mobile number and opt in to receive texts, or initiate a text conversation with us, we may respond about your request and send service-related texts such as quote follow-ups, booking confirmations, reminders, crew arrival notices, job updates, invoices, payment links, and support responses. If you separately opt in to marketing, we may also send offers or promotions. Message frequency varies based on your interactions and service schedule. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

To stop texts, reply STOP to any Fog City Junk Removal message. For assistance, reply HELP, call 628-888-6588, or email [email protected]. After STOP, we may send one confirmation of your opt-out. You can also contact us to change your messaging preferences. Consent to text messages is not required to buy our services.

6. Website content and outside services

Website descriptions, availability, and prices may be updated. Links to scheduling or payment providers may be subject to those providers' separate terms. Do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or submit false service requests.

7. Responsibility and changes

We will perform approved work with reasonable care. If you have a concern about a job, contact us promptly so we can review it. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived. We may update these terms by posting a new effective date here. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise stated in an individual agreement.
